After the rain, 2021

In a traditional Japanese house, Doma (indoor dirt area) and the next wooden floor were essential for the family's daily life because the area covering the house entrance was used as a kitchen, dining room and workshop. This multipurpose space, between the indoor and outdoor, accepted fire, water and dirty things that ware risks for the home's interior.

My installation work is inspired by the accumulation of the family's memories and the reflection of their feelings to each other in the vibrant area of the old days.
